THE ARTIST - Sonia Stait
Married with a grown up family, Sonia spent many years as a restaurateur in Surrey but with a move to Wiltshire, she completed HND in Fine Art at Salisbury College and now works full time in her small studio at home in Hindon.
This collection reflects the local neighbourhood and as been created specifically for the newly refurbished conservatory. For inspiration, Sonia explored the area of Clapham Common around The Windmill and her paintings are images of the people and places that she saw.
Works by Sonia can be seen in other Young's pubs including the recently transformed Hand & Spear at Weybridge.
